Makoto Holmberg is Andrea Picella, a young Italian producer, engineering student who has always been passionate about electronic music. The solo project Makoto Holmberg was born in 2015, after several years in which Andrea plays the bass in Alternative \ Post Rock bands. Initially, the project was intended to a live dimension, and Makoto Holmberg immediately begins to present a live visual / ambient live, performing in England and Germany. His music is an electronics influenced by artists such as burial, Arca, Apparat and other artists of the current one. By the end of 2015 Andrea decided to work on the first EP, released in 2016 for the Milanese label Syntheke Records. His title is "Slow Night", an ep 4 track plus two remixes, well received by the environment, and judged a good first debut by Rockit, Stordisco, Elita, Soundbounds and others. His latest live of 2016 is in Milan, at the Linecheck Music Festival, dividing the stage with LIM. After this last performance, Andrea decided to stop doing live and work on his second EP, looking for a more elegant and more expressive sound.
